8th Aachen Assembly Workshop
Tuesday, September 20, 2016, to Wednesday, September 21, 2016Copyright: WZLforum gGmbH
The last stage in the product preparation process, no other area has the increased demands on diversity, dynamics, and speed like assembly. As a result it plays a key role in the production industry. In order to face current demands, assembly systems must be organizationally further developed at the highest level.
Experts from research and practice will present the best possibilities for further development during the two day event. The focus of the event are the core topics assembly organization and preparation logistics, which will be discussed using selected case examples.
The discussion of forms of organization, with which the increasingly dynamic and diverse production environment can be faced, lies at the focus of assembly organization. The central framework conditions of Germany as a high-wage country are taken into particular consideration. Current trends and developments in material preparation are also a focus. Innovative concepts open up possibilities to participants for lowering complexity costs in their own logistic processes and show successful paths for an increase in productivity in one's own company.
A Workshop for
Professional and managers whose work includes the planning and layout of flow and fixed assembly lines, shaping assembly work areas, and the planning and layout of material preparation processes.
