MEET Hi-EnD II

Zellkomponentenentwicklung für Hochenergie-Lithiumzellen

Motivation and Procedure

Using Industry 4.0 is especially important for SMEs to improve their competitiveness and innovation capability to assert oneself in the world wide competition. Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) are significant technology cornerstones to implement Industry 4.0. Especially for SMEs it is difficult to transfer the concept of CPS as approach for operating problems.

Research Objectives

The project cyberKMU2 develops an online platform, which supports producing SMEs to identify CPS to solve weaknesses in the production, to improve production processes and make them more efficient. To achieve this, an analysis of the requirement of the consortium’s production companies and of the on-marked Cyber Physical Systems are done. Based on this a valuation model is developed for an efficiency analysis and a monetary analysis to support the investment decision in different CPS. The online platform is for producer companies to look for solutions and to offer their solutions, to make it easy to find suitable technology suppliers. To ensure the quality of the evaluation method, the recommended solutions are implemented and validated using demonstrators in the production companies.
