Notes on the assessment center

Approximately every two months we conduct assessment centers for your entry as a research associate. If we identify a suitable vacancy for you, an institute representative will contact you for an initial telephone interview. In the next step, you may receive an invitation from our recruiting team to our assessment center in Aachen. With the help of various exercises and tasks we would like to get to know you better and give you the opportunity to discuss your personal needs and questions with us.

 

Our offer and your requirements

Consulting

A large part of our work consists of consulting projects with leading, internationally active industrial companies, in which we work together with our customers to develop and implement needs-based analyses and future-oriented concepts for electric mobility. We create added value for our partners through our know-how from research and innovative solutions. Our hands-on mentality enables you to take on responsibility from day one. You get to know versatile projects with practice-relevant problems in many different companies and use our methods and tools to solve these problems.

Research

In practice-oriented research projects with our strong partners from industry and science, we deal with the development of novel solutions for battery and powertrain optimization, and the fuel cell. We operate across disciplines and industries and aim to make tomorrow's world a better place. Through our creative possibilities you will optimize your methodical approach and at the same time sharpen your out-of-the-box thinking.

Further development

We transfer our latest findings from research into industrial practice through one-day or multi-day seminars, conferences and congresses, some with more than 100 participants. At our events and training courses for specialists and managers, we always actively seek the exchange of experts in order to gather new ideas and contacts. As we design and carry out these events ourselves, you will become a professional in the organisation of major events and train how to communicate content to target groups and how to communicate with experts at eye level.

Teaching

For students at RWTH Aachen University, we offer lectures and project modules in cooperation with industrial partners that deal with practice-oriented topics. Furthermore, we regularly supervise ambitious students with project-related final theses by our scientific staff. In all our fields of activity, student assistants and research assistants form a closely cooperating team in which everyone can learn from each other. In this way, we impart our knowledge and inspire students to study electromobility.

What we expect from you

In addition to a technically oriented TH/TU degree, which you have completed with excellent grades, we expect from you a high degree of independence, commitment, initiative and personal resilience. In addition, you should have very good communication and team skills as well as a confident appearance. The basic requirement is also a good command of German and English (at least B2 level).
